A living, vibrant, organic permaculture and aquaponic garden...

Behind the cafe, you will find our beautiful vegetable garden run by Vicky Chown and a team of dedicated volunteers.

Much of the produce we grow goes back to the volunteers and into the delicious snacks on our cafe menu.

Our community garden won top prize in the Haringey In Bloom competition 2016, 2015 and two top prizes for Best Community Garden and Best (overall group) in Attracting Wildlife & Biodiversity in 2014.

Workshops

The garden holds workshops on food growing and compost making for schools and other groups. We also offer Corporate Team Building days in the garden.

Volunteering

The garden is maintained by volunteers on Mondays and Thursdays, from 10am to 2pm.

If you would like to join in as a volunteer to learn food-growing skills, please email queenswoodcafegarden@gmail.com to be added to the list.

No previous experience is necessary. Sorry, we can only host over 18s.
